London It List

It was an adventure not just to remember, but to cherish.

I just came back from the UK and will fly again this morning, but before that I had to share with you my favorite ‘It Places’ in London. Some of which I discovered for the first time during my last trip, and others I visit out of tradition when I’m in London.

It’s true that I kept on “not seeing her” relationship with Mrs. London since I got divorced from my British husband, but last week the timing was right to reunite, and so we did, oh we did! Me and London of course, just to be clear.

It was seriously one of the most enjoyable trips lately, and I simply couldn’t stop laughing, loving, eating, drinking and more drinking, and now it’s time to share it all with you.

My home for the adventure was the lovely, cozy and trendy Hoxton hotel, which is located in the new and very happening buzzy area in London right now, Shoreditch, east London.

Let me just tell you that I couldn’t imagine a better “welcome home (away from home)” that the  Hoxton prepared for me. I received the most A-mazing room in the hotel, one of a kind designed room, in an urban luxe inspiration, mixing industrial decor with modern pieces.

If you followed my Instagram’s stories you probably saw most of the details (as well as the huge mess I have made in the room), and if not, I will leave for your own eyes when you will get the chance to experience it, it will be worth it.

On our first night we had no time for a proper fancy dinner so we checked the ‘Hoxton Grill Restaurant’ located on the ground floor of the hotel. The thing is that from “ok let’s just have something light” compromise, it became one of our favorite places to eat, breakfast, lunch and late night champagne, tea and deserts. It simply is a very cool place with great and super fresh food, it’s always busy and it seems that people (quality and beautiful people) come for the food but stay for the atmosphere.

I was also very excited to go back to 2 of my favorite place to dine in London. The first is ‘The Princess of Shoreditch‘ which is just around the block from the Hoxton, and offer a rich menu at a nostalgic and romantic 250-year-old candlelit dining room located on the 2nd floor of a busy neighborhood bar.

The second is actually one of my favorite restaurant in the whole world, Hakkasan Mayfair. Make sure you dress smart and order at least one cocktail from their super unusual cocktail menu.

And… for the coolest café, the Oscar goes to: Palm Vaults.

OMG! That’s what you will probably say when you will arrive to the ‘most Instagrammable café’ in the notorious Hackney neighborhood.

There are plants everywhere, pink-hued interior design and and green or pink latte (!) based on beetroot juice (I didn’t liked it but it is super photogenic)!

Ok now we got to my favorite part, drinking! So yes, most of this trip was all about fine champagne, but then I arrived to a tour at the: ‘Passion Vino’, a lovely wine shop that offers tastings and tailor made wine dinners based on a huge selection of independent Italian wine bottles. No need to say that it was pure heaven (but I just did, and sure you will do too.)

It’s time to say goodbye as I have a flight to catch. And yes! It’s true that I’ve been a total ‘blonde’ and missed the Victoria Show as by the time I received my invitation I discover that it wasn’t on December 5th as I though (and then couldn’t change my plans), but Paris is still waiting for me and it’s just my first stop on my super luxe winter wonderland adventure, follow me on Instagram to check the details when I can reveal it!

See you soon!
