I’m in Tel Aviv again, until tomorrow, getting ready for my next adventure in Rome (which is a very exciting project!) trying to have a bit of rest and sleep after a crazy dreamy week in the French Rivier.
So yes, oh boy yes! Cannes, Monaco and Juan Les Pins were all an absolutely unbelievable experience, a week where I struggle to take off my smile or stop raising a toast for being so blessed.
It was the second year that I attended the Cannes film festival. And even with how busy I have been in the past year, I was so excited to attend one of the most glamorous events of the year.
My time in Cannes was filled with constant crazy fun moments, as you could probably tell if you follow me on Instagram. And as I shared so many pictures and moments live, I decided to have this post as the ‘it list’ of my French Rivera adventure.
The IT sleep: That definitely goes to Hotel Belles Rives in Juan Les Pins! After three nights in Cannes I moved to a more low key location with the Belvedere vodka squad. I visited Juan Les Pins last summer and I instantly fell in love with this hidden pearl, but this time, I had the great pleasure to be exposed to Hotel Belles Rives, a luxury mansion which was the former residence of Great Gatsby author, F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda in the mid-1920’s before it was purchased and converted into a hotel.
There are so many things to mention about this place, which I think you should experience by yourself. I would just say that the art deco design, the old-school wrought-iron elevator, the Fitzgerald piano bar and the charming private beach will be some of the reasons for me to be back (hopefully soon!).
The IT beach: This time I loved hanging out at the Baoli beach located directly on the Croisette of Cannes and was open during the festival as a pop-up beach. The Baoli is also one of my favorite restaurant in Cannes and when I was lying down on the private beach with the white chic beach bed eating a fabulous light lunch and sipping a glass of Moet all I could think to myself is: “Once you went Baoli…”
Eat girl – I’ve just kinda exposed my favorite dining place in Cannes (Le Baoli), but I have to say that my magical dinner this time took place at ‘La Petite Maison de Nicole’ located at Hotel Le Majestic. The food was delicious, the deserts were pure passion, but the most fabulous thing was the ambiance, wish a live band performed covers to classic hits going around the tables and putting a smile on everyone’s faces.
The IT day adventure – They say that you can’t pick your family, but when you are in the Belvedere family you just feel so lucky they picked you.
So together with the best squad we made our way on a private boat from Juan Les Pins to Monte Carlo, had an A-mazing (!) lunch (and lost of Belvedere Spritz, of course) at the unbelievable Monaco Yacht Club and than a grand visit at the Monaco Mission Control Center where we had one of the most exclusive tour adventure about the new modern Solar Impulse.
The IT night adventure – There were so many never ending magical nights in Cannes this time, like the “WILD” party by Chopard hosting the incredible Diana Ross and fab Mark Ronson, The night we spent on the super chic Albane club located on Th
The IT gossip – This year at the Cannes film festival everyone spoke about how it is becoming less and less about the movies and more and more about the models, parties and celebs, sad!
The IT outfit – I spent all of the festival in Israeli designers outfits and jewelry and the it moment was every proud moment when people commented that they just loved the designs!
The IT relaxation moment – This one goes straight to the most incredible L. Raphael spa located on the roof of the iconic Martinez hotel! I was truly lucky to be hosted like an actual princess by the owner, Ronit Raphael. As I arrived to Cannes, Ronit welcome me and the rest of her dear VIP friends for exclusive lunch, I discover such a warm and sensitive person that just willing to host and to make you feel home. A day later I booked an oxygen facial treatment that was unbelievable, and if that wasn’t enough, I stayed a bit more at the spa, chilling outside on the deck in the company of Irina Shayk.
The It finale: #FeelingGrateful
And now, I’m off to pack for my Italian adventure in Rome!
