The very famous song by the Cure “Friday I’m in Love” that was also the theme song in one of my favorite movies: ‘He’s Just Not That into You’, pretty much explains what I felt on the 3rd day of Milan Fashion week, which was a Friday!
It all started with a very (!!!!!) early wakeup call at 7:00am after a night with 2 hours sleep. Ok maybe at that point I wasn’t really in love and needed 2 macchiatos and acappuccino to remember my name.
The skies were cloudy and grey and I decided that it will be a great idea to brighten up the Milano streets wearing my new Nudie denim and my special jacket by Noa Helinger for the Blumarine show.
Let me tell you, it wasn’t a good idea, it was the best idea! People stopped me on the streets every five minutes smiled at me and loved it, one Mom even asked me to take a pic with her daughter, because her daughter was convinced I’m a super star.
For me the Blumarine show by Anna Molinari was all about feminine blooming, and it looked like the girls by Blumarine are celebrating the Garden of Eden era.
The feel at the show was of an airy garden grown on maxi and mini dresses that were embroidered with water flowers.
Everything looked so gentle and flowing but the look that took my breath away was an oversized cotton blouse tucked into a transparent skirt garnished with stunning turquoise embroidered flowers.
My next stop was… The Gucci showroom where I had the ultimate pleasure to try on everything from the new collection the fashion house showed 2 days ago!
I have to say that the Gucci SS 2015 collection just has to be seen close up, as the details are definitely the sole player in it!
I simply couldn’t decide what to try on first but as I was in such a rush (again!) to cover the backstage of the Missoni show I chose the fur jacket and vest as well as the some bags and accessories.
For the Missoni show I felt like wearing a special knitted lurex vintage skirt and a black body together with my Christian Louboutin sandals.
I arrived there just on time together with the Missoni family and was so happy to have a small talk with the ‘Missoni Nana’ that remembered me from her visit in Israel at the last Tel Aviv Fashion Week (I was like: “Oh my g-d, really?!”).
I just loveddddd the makeup at the show (by Mac) which was all about red bold lips and glowing skin, while the hair was a true statement with printed turbans or half covered with silk scarves.
The collection was part of the whole Milan Fashion Week feel which was basically Seventies & Hippie Chic, mostly with floral prints and fresh, natural colors.
The rest of the day was all about eating a lot and laughing with dear friends. It was Friday and I was In love!
