Sometimes you just can’t decide! You don’t know if you want to wake up or stay in bed, whether you should have an omelet or croissant for breakfast, If skiing is a better idea than a sunny vacation or if you and your boyfriend are better off together or apart.
Sometimes it’s fun to decide, as when you think about the ultimate next vacation, you are actually going all around the world in your mind. Imagining climbing Mount Everest, scuba diving off the coast of one of Thailand’s islands, drinking hot coco (ok, so I always put some alcohol in mine…) after a challenging ski session and shopping until you drop on the Champs Elysees.
But sometimes it’s not that fun. That usually happens when this decision feels like a life changing one.
As a very practical and decisive person (excuse me but I think that believing in unicorns is very practical, ok?!) wandering around and trying to let time help me make the right choice is not that easy. But you know what they say: life is like riding a bicycle, if it’s hard it means that you’re going uphill… So I thought to myself I’ll take this opportunity and will try to learn something new, I’ll learn how to let go and let the right answer appear when I’m ready.
When I received a Kimono from the new Mango collection I wasn’t sure it suited me. I couldn’t decide whether to take it home with me or leave it at the store, after trying it on and taking it off 3 times I adopted it to my wardrobe.
The feel I had when I wore it for the first time was ‘comfort clothes’, like comfort food but… clothes. It felt like a stylish house robe I can wear out and feel protected. This feel perfectly matches Dalal’s romantic garden, where we shot these pics which were all about finding comfort even when you feel a bit blue.
