When I was offered the chance to team up with the ‘MOSCHINO loves DISARONNO‘ project I didn’t even hesitate and simply said: “I’m in!”. After all when someone asks me to work on a fashion task that involves my favorite iconic brand – Moschino, I say yes. When they say that it’s gonna involve cocktails I say – Hell Yes!
And you know what they say, when life gives you lemons, wear a Moschino outfit, grab a Disaronno bottle and make an A-mazing cocktail!
So if it wasn’t clear by now, I was very excited to shoot my own interpretation of the latest collaboration between DISARONNO, the best selling Italian liqueur in the world, and Italian fashion house MOSCHINO, who created “The ‘MOSCHINO loves DISARONNO‘ bottle that is designed in the fashion house’s signature style, adorned with its classic heart pattern in a bold black and red color palette.
I really wanted to do something special and different; I was thinking I want to show the mood of this time of year which means the holiday season and to show some Tel Aviv style at the same time. I didn’t know where the shoot should take place until I woke up on the morning of it.
It was a gorgeous sunny day and I remembered that when I met Rossella Jardini, Moschino’s Creative Director, a year ago, she asked me what I love about this brand and I simply answered, “the fact that the design shows humor, passion, joy and energy just like where my heart beats, In Tel Aviv…”.That’s what I should do then, I thought, shoot in all the places that reflects Tel Aviv, the streets walls complete with graffiti, the restaurants and the beach – and that’s how we ended up with a three part post!
Now to celebrate this festive time and fab collaboration I suggest e a toast with ‘MOSCHINO loves DISARONNO‘ sour cocktail and so I offer you this timeless recipe:
3 parts DISARONNO
1 part lemon juice
7 muddled cranberries
Shaken and strained in a flute with no ice
Topped with champagne
Belt and earrings: Moschino
Skirt: Paul and Bear
Shoes: Viviane Westwood for Melissa
