Oh la la I’m in LoVe

Last Wednesday I was invited to the opening of the new Louis Vuitton Store in Tel Aviv.
Louis Vuitton is one of the most famous names in the business.
It all started In 1854, when Louis Vuitton opened his first store in Paris, which offered luxury luggage for the well-traveled set.
This brand didn’t tap into the ready-to-wear business until 1997 when New York designer Marc Jacobs joined and immediately added an incredibly lucrative clothing business while bringing Vuitton up-to-date by collaborating with such artists as Stephen Sprouse (who irreverently graffitied bags) and later Takashi Murakami (who added a bubble-gum anime humor to the line).
Since last Thursday Tel Aviv residents can enjoy the LV flagship store, located in the Ramat Aviv mall, and offering women’s and men’s bags, shoes and accessories as well as a VIP room that will allow you to be exposed to some limited edition leather goods.
I was very privileged and was given a private tour and intorduction to the LV managers from Cyprus and Greece and loved every moment of sipping Champagne and trying on some rare items.
I’m totally aware that the prices are expensive but for a special occasion a LV bag can be a great gift (just saying…)
