Last Saturday I was invited to the JIMMY CHOO event. It was the Autumn Winter 2013 collection, unveiled to the international press during the Milan Fashion Week.
The collection was very different from what I expected from CHOO, and I have been told by the CHOO crew that the creative director, Sandra Choi, was heavily inspired by Helmut Newton’s photography of strong, feminine women, with styles realized in a sedate palette of black, white, smoke, claret and deep emerald.
After a beauty ‘shluf’ (a nap in Yiddish) I started getting ready for the Musso show. I actually only received the ticket to that show earlier that day when I met the designer, Mr. Musso, by accident on my way to the CHOO event. The personal invitation to his show included back stage shooting and seating on the front row, and so i simply had to wear something glamorous.
I picked a see-through shiny skirt and a cream lace top together with my bright yellow sandals and matching earrings.
The Musso show was A-mazing very classic with sophistication and simplicity in the same time.
He showed a tailored collection in black, white with a little yellow and a touch of blue, together with Bronze high heels.
The next stop was the Armani party, and what a party it was! I think I better let you take a look at the pics and see by yourself…
